Blizzard Entertainment has released the 35.6.2 patch notes for Hearthstone, bringing balance updates for Hearthstone, Arena, and Battlegrounds, along with some bug fixes. The patch includes adjustments to various cards and mechanics to address meta concerns and improve gameplay balance.
Hearthstone Updates
Card Adjustments:
- Confront the Tol'vir: Mana cost increased from 3 to 4.
- The Eternal Hold: Mana cost increased from 0 to 1 when no minions are in the deck.
- Hatchery Helper: Attack bonus for minions with 2 or less attack changed from +1/+2 to +1/+1.
- Twilight Egg: Deathrattle changed from Summon a 2/2 Whelp to Summon a 2/1 Whelp.
- Crystallized Leyline: Mana cost increased from 5 to 6.
Full Dust Refunds: These cards will be eligible for full dust refunds for two weeks following the patch.
Arena Updates
- Added the following cards to the Arena draft pool: Bursting Leyline, Mystic Runesaber, Leywalker, Crystallized Leyline, Surge Needle, Leyline Nexus, Baleful Blazer, Destructive Phoenix, Primordial Lord, Tunneling Geomancer.
Battlegrounds Updates
Minion Adjustments:
- Buffed minions to support Beasts, Murlocs, Quilboar, and Undead.
- Brought back Felhorn, Costume Enthusiast, and Trench Fighter.
- Nerfed Twilight Hatchling to reduce the number of attacks.
- Removed Egg of the Endtimes and its related trinkets.
Trinket Changes:
- Banned Double Stitch Needle in Murloc games.
- Banned Chillmere Mosaic from Millhouse and Sindragosa.
- Removed Egg of the Endtimes Portrait from the Lesser Trinket Pool.
- Chromatic Tear returned to the Lesser Trinket Pool.
Cost Adjustments:
- Various trinket costs were increased or decreased.
Bug Fixes and Gameplay Improvements
- Fixed a bug where Designer Eyepatch Trinket could be offered in the False Idols Anomaly.
- Fixed a bug where Wisdomball Supply Trinket could be offered while Golganneth's Tempest Anomaly was active.
- Fixed a bug where Stone Age Slab did not benefit from Elemental buffs.
- Fixed a bug where Double Stitch Needle doubled a minion's stats twice with Balinda Stonehearth in play.
